Yes, people really get paid per view. Here is who pays, what the rates look like, how views are verified, and where the money comes out.
Who is paying for views, and why
Brands used to buy attention two ways: ads, or sponsoring big creators. Both are expensive and neither guarantees results. A newer model flips it: a brand funds a campaign budget, sets a rate per 1,000 views, and any creator can post content for that campaign. The budget pays out only as real views arrive. The brand buys results, and creators without followings finally get paid on the same terms as anyone else.
What the rates look like
On our own board, live deals currently run $0.38 to $4.00 per 1,000 verified views. That means a clip that reaches 50,000 views pays roughly $19 at the lowest rate and $200 at the highest. The rate is printed on every deal before you post, next to the budget that funds it, so there is no negotiation and no surprise.
The one word that matters: verified. Platforms count every view; payment systems cannot. Views pass bot filtering and spike checks before they count toward money. That protection is exactly why brands keep funding budgets, which is why the money exists at all.
The loop, start to finish
- A brand funds a campaign. Money in before the deal goes live, so payouts never depend on an invoice being honored later.
- You claim a deal. The brief says what to post, the rate, and the budget remaining.
- You post on your own account. TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts, whichever the deal lists.
- Views verify automatically. Your connected account lets the platform's own numbers do the proving.
- You withdraw. Verified earnings become a balance you move to PayPal or UPI on request.
What it is not
It is not passive income, not a get-rich scheme, and not buying views. You make content, the content earns. Posts flop sometimes; the difference from sponsorships is that a flop costs you nothing but the time it took, and the next post is one tap away on the same board.
