Privacy policy

1. What we collect

• Account basics. Your email address, name and profile picture from the sign in provider you choose (for example Google), plus the role you pick, creator or brand.
• Platform data. For every post you submit to a deal, we read its public statistics, such as the view count and the account that posted it. If you connect YouTube, we also receive read only data about your channel's identity, so we can confirm a video is yours. We request the smallest scope YouTube offers for this. Instagram and TikTok are not connected: we read the public data of the posts you submit.
• Creator score. If you ask for a creator score: the Instagram, TikTok and YouTube handles you send us, the niches, country and languages you pick, and one line about what you post. Our team then reads figures off those public profiles by hand: followers, posts, average views per post over the last 15 days, 30 days and 6 months, and average likes and comments per post. Each reading is stored with the date it was taken and the score worked out from it. We do not scrape your profiles and we do not buy this data from a vendor.
• Campaign activity. Deals you join, links you submit, earnings and payout records, and campaign settings you create as a brand.
• Technical basics. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) used for security and debugging, and strictly necessary cookies that keep you signed in. We do not run advertising trackers.

2. What we never collect

• Passwords for your social or Google accounts. Sign in and connections use OAuth; the platform shows you exactly what it shares before you approve.
• Card or bank credentials. When a brand pays a PayPal invoice, PayPal handles the card or bank details on its own systems and we never see them. Payout details you give us (such as a UPI id or PayPal email) are stored only to send your money.
• Your private messages, drafts, followers lists or anything beyond the read only data described above.

3. Why we use it

• To verify that views on submitted posts are real and to calculate earnings.
• To show brands aggregate campaign results. Brands see campaign level numbers and the posts submitted to their own campaign, never your data from other campaigns or platforms.
• To work out your creator score and, if you choose to be listed, to show your listing to brands on aimviews.
• To pay creators, invoice brands, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
• To email you about your account, such as sign in links, and about campaigns you run or join. We do not send marketing email.

4. Your creator listing

• Your listing appears on aimviews, our site for brands, only if you choose to be listed. Pressing "Submit for review and list me for brands" on your score page is that choice.
• A listing shows your score, niches, country, languages, your one line, the figures our team read and the date of each reading. After 3 approved posts on our deals it also shows your approval rate and views per approved post.
• Anyone can see a listing on aimviews with your initials in place of your handle, and its figures rounded to two significant figures. Only brands signed in to aimviews see your handles, links to your profiles and the exact figures.
• Your name, email, payout details and account id are never shown on a listing.
• The figures are dated readings of your public profiles, not a promise of future views. We aim to read them again every 60 days, or sooner if you ask, and a reading older than 90 days is marked as possibly out of date.
• You can hide your listing at any time from your score page, and it stops showing on aimviews. You can also ask us to delete your listing and its readings, or your whole account, at any time (see section 7).

5. Google user data

EarnForViews' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is used only to authenticate you and to read view statistics for videos you submit to campaigns. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never read by humans except for security, compliance or with your explicit consent. Our use of YouTube data is also governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke our access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

6. Sharing

We share data only with the services that run the product: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), PayPal (brand payments by invoice, and creator payouts sent by PayPal), Resend (sending our sign in and account emails), Google (sign in with Google if you choose it, the YouTube Data API, which receives the links of YouTube posts you submit, and Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces your browser downloads to show our pages), and Cloudflare (our domain names, and forwarding the email you send to our support addresses). Instagram and TikTok view counts are read from the public post by our team. Each receives only what it needs. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers. If you choose to be listed, your creator listing is shown on aimviews as section 4 describes.

7. Retention and deletion

Account data is kept while your account is active. We do not keep YouTube access tokens: we use one once to confirm your channel, then revoke it. Disconnecting YouTube deletes the link between your channel and your account straight away. The public view counts of posts you already submitted to a deal are still read while that deal runs, because that is how you are paid. Deleting your account removes your personal data within 30 days, except payment and payout records we must keep for tax and accounting law. To delete your account or your data, email us and we will confirm within 7 days.

8. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. Whatever your country's law grants you, we honor by request. We are based in India and follow applicable Indian data protection law.

9. Children

EarnForViews is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if that happens, tell us and we delete it.

10. Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we email account holders and update the date above. The current version always lives at this address.
